About the Journal
Advances in Power Systems Research (APSR) is a respected international peer-reviewed, open-access journal dedicated to disseminating the latest advances and innovative research in the field of power systems engineering and technology. Published quarterly by Global Open Share Publishing, APSR is an important platform for academics, researchers, industry professionals, and policymakers to share their groundbreaking findings and insights on the development, optimization, and sustainable operation of modern power systems.
Open Access: free for readers, with article processing charges (APC) paid by authors or their institutions. The current APC, subject to VAT or local taxes where applicable, is: $2000.00 (Waived for Manuscripts submitted before December 31, 2025).
Rapid Publication: manuscripts are peer-reviewed and a first decision is provided to authors approximately 21 days after submission; acceptance to publication is undertaken in 14 days.
Recognition of Reviewers: reviewers who provide timely, thorough peer-review reports receive vouchers entitling them to a discount on the APC of their next publication in APSR, in appreciation of the work done.
